Hair Vendors List | Find The Best Hair Suppliers & Vendors
Most of you who decide to get into this billion industry are so pumped and eager to start a hair business as soon as possible at the beginning. At this point, you would like to believe in everything saying it would make your hair business and your hair brand off the ground.
You may have seen people talking about their favorite hair vendors on YouTube. You may have seen hair vendor list are for sale on Instagram. If you do a Google search on how to find a good hair vendor, you may also have seen people selling hair vendor list online or on their personal websites.
You are excited about this vendor list at the first sight since jumping to a list seems to save you a lot of effort and time in searching a hair vendor, then you could start taking orders right away. However, did people really find professional and reliable wholesale hair vendors on the list? Do they sell high-quality hair extensions?
In fact, not all the hair vendor list are helpful. Sometimes you will realize that you have spent big money on useless papers or documents. We'll tell you why.
What is a hair vendor list?
Do you know there are how many hair suppliers in the hair industry? Actually, I have no answer for this question because too many people want to take a share from this goldmine. So it is time consuming and boring to looking for the best wholesale hair vendors among thousands of suppliers. Many newcomers don't know where to start. Then a vendor list works.
A hair vendor list usually contains a bunch of hair distributors, Brazilian hair, Peruvian hair, Indian hair, Malaysian hair and human hair wigs, etc) along with their basic contact information like names, websites, email as well as WhatsApp.
The price of the vendor list often varies from $50 all the way up to $950 depending on the different number of suppliers (they tell you every supplier listed has been tested for high-quality human hair and good customer service). It is tempting!
Think it over again
What are your expectations for the hair vendor list? Find the best hair vendor? But "the best" is always a subjective concept, which varies greatly from individual to individual. The person who created the list thinks that those suppliers proving you with the high-quality products are "the best" while you are looking for "better quality, cheaper price, faster lead time". Therefore, you are disappointed.
You are never guaranteed any refund if you don’t like those listed suppliers or worse if you receive a batch of poor crappy hair. Besides, can you completely trust the list and invest a large sum of money on hair inventory immediately? We believe you won’t. We either. Even if having the list on hand, you still go through vetting the vendor, contacting them, testing the sample one by one. It costs another $100-$300 sample fee for each supplier.
Supposed that there are 30 hair vendors on that list, how much does it cost for a list creator to test the hair quality and service of each company? (let's set $100 per sample fee) Please think about it yourself. In fact, we are not against purchasing a vendor list. It can be a guideline for the new business starter. But it is tempting also for people to scam you with vendor lists. Not all the vendor list are scam but always remember if you just purchase a vendor list from somebody, it doesn’t mean that it is a reputable vendor because anybody can go online, copy, paste some names, put it on a piece of paper or a piece of document and sell it to you for 50 to 1000 dollars. It is that easy!
Do your own research
Whoever said that the good things in life come easily without hard. Also, there is no shortcut to run a successful hair business. Doing your own vendor research is a process that you can’t escape. It is a little difficult especially when you are a newcomer and have no idea where to start but it is not impossible.
More importantly, you should be knowledgeable through your research, your study. I mean you should have a clear idea of what is remy hair? what is virgin hair? what is the raw hair? what is mink hair? how is the hair processed? Only in this way can you ensure you will not get scammed.
Forget the hair vendor list. There are still plenty of ways to look for wholesale hair extensions via Google, Instagram, Youtube, Pinterest etc. If you are interested in going a little depth in details, check my previous topic "How to find a good hair vendor?".
Collect a few prospective hair vendors who can supply you Brazilian hair, Indian hair, Malaysian hair etc. Next, check all the information online: their website, their social media account, their reviews. Then, you can talk to these vendors and sample the hair. Instead of spending your coin on an expensive hair vendor list from a stranger, you should trust your research more.
You may find our JC Hair Factory when you are searching wholesale hair suppliers on Google among the related results, JC Hair Factory ranks very well(usually number #1 among the result list) without Google sponsored ads. Some questions you can ask your vendor.
Q1: What are the four critical stages that determine the quality of virgin hair?
Q2: Which of the four critical stages does your company perform in the house?
Q3: For the stages outsourced, how do you ensure quality?
Q4: How is this hair sourced?
Q5: How was this hair pattern created?
Q6: How would you describe the cuticle?
We would not answer all these questions here. We want you to do your own research and learn something. It is definitely rewarding for your hair business.
